Ender Soyaçıkgöz is a distinguished architect and entrepreneur whose career spans over four decades of innovation, leadership, and global impact in the construction and foundation engineering industry. As the founder of Mensoy, he has led the company from its humble beginnings to an internationally recognized leader in deep foundation technologies.
His professional journey began in the 1970s within the family company owned by his father, where he worked on residential and institutional construction sites. These formative experiences instilled a lifelong passion for structural integrity and technical excellence.
In 1985, he founded Mensoy: marking the beginning of a new chapter defined by engineering ambition and technological progress. The company initially specialized in cast in-situ piling, quickly expanding its capacity from a single tripod rig to a fleet completing over 150,000 linear meters of piling by 1988.
As global construction technologies evolved, Mr. Soyaçıkgöz took decisive steps to bring innovation home.
He was among the first to introduce advanced European foundation systems such as Bauer, Soilmec, and Fundex – into the Turkish market.
In 1989, Mensoy entered a joint venture with the Dutch firm Funderingstechnieken Verstraete BV, followed by a second partnership with Zakladani Staveb Co. of Czechoslovakia.
With a visionary approach to international growth, Mr. Soyaçıkgöz established and led a network of companies across multiple regions: in Israel, he co-founded Solmen Co. in partnership with Solel Boneh, and in 2001, launched Mendor Co. Inc. through an alliance with Alef Dori Co. In Jordan, he founded Aqaba Foundation International Co. Inc. (2002) and in Morocco, he established Mensoy Maroc (2005), which remains active under the wings of MENSOY.
Throughout his career, Mr. Soyaçıkgöz has been a pioneer in applying technologies such as Vibrex piling, diaphragm walls, vertical drains, anchors, vibrocompaction, and sheet piling across diverse geographies and challenging geological conditions.
His leadership is defined not only by technical expertise but also by an enduring commitment to innovation, cross-border collaboration, and excellence in execution. Today, Mensoy and its affiliated companies continue to deliver landmark projects under his guidance, maintaining a reputation built on trust, precision, and forward-thinking engineering.
